Quotes and variations from advertised pricesWe endeavour to keep our prices as low as possible, because we believe in fair pricing, honesty and integrity.
We use the finest ingredients available to your budget and believe in plentiful foods wherever possible. Our work sheets itemise everything for your event, so you can see what we charge and how we charge. However: Some venues charge us a commission to provide food to you at their venue. This is why they have an "approved" list of caterers. The lists include companies who have been vetted, can prove they are properly insured, qualified etc and often have agreed to sign a confidentiality order about commissions. With this in place, our menu prices may vary from those advertised and we may be prevented from telling you why. Naming the venues that charge would result in us never being able to cater there again. The variations relate to the size of commission requested from the venue. It may be as little as £1.00 per person or as much as a 30% addition to the total we'd normally charge you. We may be required to send copies of all our worksheets to the venue prior to attending, so they can be assured that the commissions we pay are correct. Some venues require us to provide meals to their staff in addition to commissions. We will let you know if this is the case as we sadly don't do this for free and we certainly don't randomly over charge our respected clients to compensate! Some live bands also have meals as part of their contract to play. Please let us know if they are to be fed, so we can provide foods for them without disturbing your meal service ( Musicians are usually provided with a separate platter of foods that can be provided to them at their convenience without disturbing the chef when his focus is on your guests during food serving times.) Not all venues charge us to attend. There is no added commission to events in your own home! Terms and Conditions.Terms and conditions:
